A charity which helps children and adults with the behavioural disorder, ADHD, may have to close because they have no money.

NI-ADD says the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust refuses to give them any more funding.

This is happening up and down the country. I personally think that Health & Social Care are trying to drive us all underground due to the challenges we present them with regarding delivering better services and a more tailored support for those with ADHD.

I know I bugged our LA and Health Care for almost 15 yrs or more----I must be a constant pain in their butts but at least we are making progress!

ADHD Schools Pack into every school
About to launch the ADHD Pack for GP's
ADHD Parenting Project
ADHD Care Pathway
ADHD (Multi-agency) Strategy Group
Joint Conferences
etc, etc etc But still no cash coming forward to provide support to parents and carers.

On this note, is Disability issues not on the agenda for all political party's----Party Conferences?

Such small sums of money involved.

The gov just wants non=public funds (ie citizens pockets) to pay instead..

I mean, if they give funding to this group, it means less chocolate biscuits and luxury lunches and that won't happen.

Am I being cynical, yes, and I have reason to be it seems.

The efforts of the admins on here and the other sites, honeypot, charities,ignored.. just seems that you have to strike or something to get noticed, or hang off bridges...............
