Hmm. .you got me thinking and into a bit of a hyperfocus googlefest. .
I haven't and wouldn't watch Hangover, just because it's not my kind of thing.
The only films I can think of that I've seen that have a character with ADHD
are Thumbsucker and Mommy (not Hollywood blockbusters) . .
In my googlefest I found a film called Sister (2014 David Lascher) which looks
quite good and I might have to watch. .
There's a lot of characters which are implied to have ADHD or that people think
show traits in retrospect. .Maria in The Sound of Music anyone? . .
PS. if anyone is thinking about watching Mommy, it's in French and VERY LONG . .

In principle I agree.
I haven't seen the film, but from what you say, it doesn't sound appropriate.
Sensitive films like Rainman are sadly very rare, and others that deal sensitively with disability ore often tragic, not surprisingly.
I think this is why I like the paralympics, even though I don't really care about sports and sporting ability generally.

The mechanic, Jesse in the film The Fast and the Furious had ADHD and was super clever. Helped keep the gang's cars running perfectly.
He was only a minor character but I think it was a pretty positive portrayal of ADHD.

'extremely eccentric, childish, often offensive and generally very odd' That probably sums me up perfectly Let's be realistic. For day to day shit, you probably don't want an unmedicated ADHDer around. For the exceptional, world changing, problem solving type stuff though, there are none better suited than us

I'm not really a car person myself, and generally only watch kids'films! But for some reason I really enjoy the fast and furious films! I was especially proud of Jesse. I suspect his ADHD got him into the trouble that caused him to not be in any of the other films (don't want to spoil too much lol).
Impulsivity = silly mistakes!
