Hello All,
I have just been informally diagonised by my local psych nurse with ADHD but i have to wait for another year to be formally diagonised. I am a bit out of sorts finding out i have ADHD and i don't have full support from my family with it. I think its just a big thing cos i think i have had it my whole life looking back and what have been told with how i acted before i was 4 years old.
I guess i always knew i was different growing up but just got on with my life. I wasn't naughty naughty just a bit cheeky, hyper, frustrated and a day dreamer i guess. Ploughed my life into my sport and have had many injuries over the years.
I am a 34 year woman and was wondering if any other adults habe been through the same? Did they have to wait a long time to get help?
Anyway thanks for reading my post. Cheers

Welcome scuzzley ! Waiting lists are generally pretty long. . at least you've managed to get on one. . That can be difficult in itself! Have a look around. . ask questions 🙂
