I have the longest, thickest hair you can imagine and was on concerta for
over a year and the one thing that wasn't a problem was anything to do with my hair. .
I've often expressed the view that if cancer/brain tumour treatment meant that
I'd have to lose my hair, I'd rather die sooner . .honestly, my hair's so important to me. .
Just my view. . .

I love my hair, but apart from keep my head warm, it doesn't actually do much at all. There are far more important things that I actually need. I'd be pretty pissed if it did make me bald and give no benefit in return, but for the purposes of this discussion it's the probablities that are important here. The probability is high for getting moderate to high level of benefit, and low to the point of being rare to lose hair. There's also the issue of anxiety, imho you are being overly anxious, and ironically that is one of the things that mph is likely to help with. Anxiety is very often (if not always) part of ADHD in more ways than one. Fear can stimulate the production of brain chemicals that we (ADHDers) are normally short of, thus making anxiety a subconsciously desirable thing. My advice is to try and stop feeding the anxiety and find a healthier way of getting the brain chemicals you need. i.e. Stop worrying about rare possibilities and try the mph.
