Hi there,
I would like to engage with the issues I have with ADD which I believe are affecting my life with communication, relationships and personal development.
Learning about my ADD has helped me rationalise these issues and with dealing with anxiety and depression by understanding and accepting the way I am.
However making changes to my life in a positive direction is frustratingly slow and understanding the symptoms doesn't necessarily make them any easier to manage.
I would like to make and keep track of plans and untangle some of the issues I am currently experiencing and build up a support network, and I hope this forum might be a step in the right direction.
Thank you!
Hugh

Hi - I'm in my late forties and was only properly diagnosed earlier this year. Your post has really summed up what I have felt for some time. I had some counselling back in the Summer which was a great help; what she said was not to beat myself up about the 'small stuff' and focus on change that will bring tangible benefits.

Thank you! Hugh Hi Hugh! I was diagnosed with ADD when I was a child but I didn't know until recently but I've had a history of depression and anxiety too. The changes are slow but you CAN do it and you will see improvements, take your time to explore yourself and support networks and don't be afraid to try something new!
