Hi. I’m new and would appreciate some advice.
Is it normal for teenagers with ADHD to behave inappropriately in a sexual way? My son, aged 13, has been making a lot of inappropriate sexual remarks to girls at school. He’s always had issues with personal boundaries and appropriate social behaviour but he’s now older and I am really worried he’s going to end up in trouble with police. School have made a report to social work who will be coming out to speak with us next week.
Any help or advice would be appreciated especially if you have some experience of this issue.

Can't say it was the case with me, and I'd be surprised it it were linked. That's really more of a 'this is how I treat people' kind of deal, rather than an 'I can't focus' thing. Other people might have different thoughts and experiences though, so don't just take my word for it

Thanks for replying Chris. I’m not suggesting it has anything to do with not being able to focus but more the impulsive side of ADHD. He really struggles with impulsivity and after a bit of research I’ve found quite a few articles saying that blurting our innapropriate comments is part of the impulsive side of ADHD. I just wondered if anyone else had gone through this themselves or with their children and had any advice.
