Sorry dude I think ure experiment is faulty
I didn't read it all but I did read the bit where it said if the participant was deemed 2 have not paid full attention 2 the questions they were excluded from the results
Hahaha so u basically excluded everyone with ADHD from ure experiment or did I misunderstand?

Hi, Thank you for reading the research and taking an interest. 548 people who completed my study successfully and passed the attention check had a clinical diagnosis of ADHD. Of the people who were excluded because they did not answer the attention check question 55% had ADHD but 45% also did not have ADHD. Actually only 91 people out of 1589 did not pass this check which is barely any. So that means a lot of people (548) with an ADHD diagnosis paid full attention. This check wasn't here to try and catch people with attention difficulties out - it is to make sure that people who are taking part are doing so properly and giving accurate answers. This is to make sure the evidence we get is as true and accurate as possible so that it can make a difference. Hope that helps clarify

That's hilarious!!
I don't know how 2 do the quote thing but u actually said alot of people with ADHD paid full attention
so does that mean that they don't have attention problems?
Just remind me again what is ADHD?

Hi Again,
Inattention is the inability to regulate where attention is focused, it does not simply mean that a person with ADHD can never pay attention. This is why some people may become easily distracted at times, or hyper-focused at times too. I personally struggle with both, however, some may be more inclined towards distraction, or inclined towards hyper-focus. Many people also take medication which helps enhance focus for a period of time. Many people with ADHD may also have severe hyperactivity and impulsivity and no issues with inattention. I understand some people may struggle to pay attention during the research because of their inattention - as it is on a spectrum, so I respect what you are saying, but these are the people (91 in this study) who did not pass the attention check. However, not everyone with ADHD is the same, and as I said a large percentage of the people who took part in the study managed to pay attention. That is not to say the research is perfect, but I just want to express that the research is valid in the area you are discussing.
Thanks for your interest in the study and for opening up debate. Hopefully, I have helped clarify your query.
