It depends where you live. It’s likely they’ll ask you the questions on DSM-5 or ICD-10 criteria, www.nice.org.uk/guidance/ng87/chapter/Recommendations#diagnosisWhich you can google. .. .but if they’re a good specialist, they’ll know by just speaking to you and observing how how you behave during the appointment. It’s always good to have evidence from childhood ie school reports, but it’s not always essential. Don’t worry, be yourself and answer honestly, even if it’s things you don’t want to admit to yourself

They might diagnose on this appointment, or require further appointments.
It’s a postcode lottery! Good luck!
(I’ve had 2x NHS assessments and a private one, All we’re different)

(I’ve had 2x NHS assessments and a private one, All we’re different) I asked two of the Mh professional's I had to see what they thought. One said traits and Qb score were very consistant with Adhd. The other said she thought it unlikely I I dont have Adhd. So we shall see soon enough. Thanx for your help. SH 75

Sure they are doing nothing? I thought this on different meds but my wife and daughter notice the difference and the that's only reason my doc kept me on them for another 2weeks at a higher dose and then we will re evaluate.
Some changes are small certainly not the limitless I was looking for 😄

Hello people, Going into my second month of Concerta 54mg, I've noticed little differences with it.
Not sure about this whole extended release thing though!
Due to my health, I have to take a two hour nap at about 3-4 eay day.
I need my meds strucured around my day, not my day strucured around my meds!
Does this make sense?
Thank you. SH75.

Changed over to Elevanse (30mg start now 50mg), finding them better than Concerta. The thing around my naps, body has kind of adjusted to my new routine. I find if I have it early (around 7am ish!) I'm good for my sleep at 4 r 5pm. I have re kindled my love of drawing too since meds change. Been drawing with chalk pastels for the first time in years. 😁😁😁👍😁😁😁🤪🤪😁😁😁
