Hi all! I'm currently working on a project about the current barriers to diagnosis in the UK and experiences of living with ADHD. I'm looking for parents of children or adolescents who were diagnosed with ADHD in the UK to fill out a short survey to help me gather some opinions about this important subject. www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/R3C07/Any responses would be greatly appreciated, and feel free to contact me with any questions. Also, if you've got any other opinions about some of the difficulties in being diagnosed please let me know. Thank you Nathan

Barriers are political and financial.
Nobody wants to give up control to do shared care. Nobody wants to pay for Elvanse. ADHDers are just an expensive reminder to GPs that they are not actually the Masters of the Universe.
Shit GPs. Spineless Psychs.
Wales is very much on the backfoot in this area and we will suffer the consequences for decades if it doesn't change soon.
Part of me wonders if we'll always be a third world country pretending we're something we're not?
