Hi,
I think this is the first time I have ever posted in a forum so please bare with me, hehe.
I have been concerned about my performance in life for a while now. I have always worked as hard as I can in most areas of my life but I have failed at almost all of the. I have been lucky career wise because my dad always found new places for me to work but I have never done well no matter how hard I tried. I have been a pilot but failed when it came to writing exam I didn't enjoy, I worked in construction but have been hated by all my bosses and forever in trouble. I was a digital marketer for a year and I did OK there but went back into construction for money and now I have been fired for poor performance. I just can't get ahead and I have also been put on antidepressants but it feels like it got worse since I started them. I have tried to get a referral to have an assessment but I have been told I don't meet the criteria without even seeing a specialist. I was diagnosed as a child and placed on ritalin but it was never managed properly... I don't know what to do now ðŸ˜

What region are you in? It makes a big difference in the help you can receive.
I'll explain more if you reply 😎

Hi
If you were diagnosed as a child, it's likely you'll still meet diagnostic criteria.
Only a specialist can tell you if you do, or don't. Unfortunately, there are GPs and psychs who think they know better.
as @jessop says, it depends on where you live as to what kind of services are available.
