My husband is 73. He's always been difficult; cannot make decisions. We've been married 34 years and in that time we've been without a car three times for long periods of time as he can't decide. He spends all night packing before we go on holiday. We're always late. He is a hoarder, our garage is full of stuff as he can 't decide what to throw away. We've been in lockdown and I'm skill waiting for my front door to be painted (after 25 years). We have rats in the garden and the shed needs dismantling etc. He is an angry man. There is a lot more I can say. I thought he suffered with aspergers, now I wonder if it's ADHD. He's acknowledged that his brain doesn't function like other people. Do I contact our GP or seek help privately?

Go private but only with his blessing.
If you can't get it, ask him to imagine his life after you've changed the locks and he's forced to befriend the rats.
Medication at age 70~ is going to be interesting.
