Done this. Actually could people send it to me as a PM and include the postcode in the subject (I am less likely to get confused if I only have requests in one place). Thanks

It only uses the first three characters of your postcode so it gives your general location - so effectively you could be anywhere in a three mile radius. I'm happy with that level of security. Sounds good to me, especially for coordinating groups. We need some kind of follow up post diagnosis, especially as getting the O/D is only another hurdle. It would appear that while services are GRADUALLY expanding, there are massive shortfalls post O/D. Also, especially as psychiatry in the UK is so very fragmented, and almost obsessively centred on depression and anxiety and not much else! For example, I live in a NHS trust which has an AADHD clinic but not in my borough, and this factor excludes me. I call it the Facism Of The Postcodes. Not being funny right, but it seems to me that the very nature of our condition makes it very difficult to get us to focus on being organized enough to keep a group going. A vicious circle indeed! If I remember right, I think heard that from ADDISS too and it does make sense. But deep down we know we're better than that, and if we are that much in need we will overcome and conquer!

I know this is Randoms baby - but can it be linked into the registration/profile process with a big 'THIS IS VOLUNTARY' notice on it?

Does anyone have thoughts on this. My suggestion would be to create a test board - say aadduktest.proboards.comand see if I can incorporate someyhing onto the sign on there.

Pink Beauty - nothing seemed right for me? So sorry. Was just asking if the link to the Map could be put seperately, I didnt think this was such a difficult request. Ironically enough, I find some of you addults more critical of me than non-addults - how exasperating is that? ?? Rhetorically - very. So, wish me luck as you wave me goodbye and all of that .... PB I thought you might have had a tad more patience/compassion .. hey ho, never mind then. # see ya Red.

hi Red,
i'm sure Pinkbeauty was just kidding, we all want you around, and i'm sorry that you feel criticised.
but, this forum is a community, and like in any community there will be people that you get along with and people that you don't!
you don't move out of a village because of what one person says to you!
so stick around, because we want you here, and value your imput! ;D

Hi red, I also second matt, and in fact couldn't have said it better than matt did! It sounds like you might be having a bit of a down day. I'm wondering if it's something you want to talk about here, maybe we can all help

Well if God values my input guess had better stay then??? Im not actually having a bit of a "down day" at the mo .... more like a "totally down existance" But that is my problem and I will sort it so, apologies ... I could put the Grimch to shame right now.
And thanks for the offer but I dont do "talking about it" .. sorry and no offence intended, it just isnt me.
Thanks for your nice comments MM, Laura and Ro.
Red
ps Was it really such a critical and stupid idea to ask for a link to the member Map outside of this Thread, no Im not being sarcastic (for once) I really mean this as an honest question?

nope, it was a good point, because you had to click on the member-map thread, then go all the way back to page one to find the actual link! so you're right, it's much easier to access with it's own dedicated thread!
glad to hear you're gonna stick around mate! ;D
