We received the following urgent email from Southampton Univervisity:
If anyone is interested me, please send me a pm with your contact details (and I think the time scale on this is pretty short).

Hi Roland
Thanks for this. I have registered my interests and from what I can gather the appropriate review forms should be with me within the next couple of weeks.
Will keep you updated.
Honey x

I have recently moved to the Southampton area and am really struggling to find any support/advice for my ADD if you have any info on help or groups in the area I would be very interested. There seems to be some interesting research being carried out at Southampton Uni but when I contacted the researchers they said they could not help and passed details of a clinician on to me who did not get back to me. My GP looked totally blank when I mentioned it and a psychiatrist at the Southampton Priory has replied since I suggested that £750 for an appointment was a bit steep. Feeling angry because if I just went to the GP with regular depression or had drunk or smoked myself half to death I would get treatment! So unfair.
