God knows how many times I've read that the great Thomas Eddison was likely to have had ADD. His energy was phenomenal, and the way he invented was to think of hundreds of different potential solutions to a given problem, creating and creating and creating in his mind as if he could not stop.

I hope not, he was a awful human being. Hw promised Tesla 50k dollars for solving the electricity on ships problem. When Tesla did this, and because it was a verbal contract, Edison said it was a 'little American joke' and didn't pay him.
Plus he had a large pool of people actually doing most of the science, since his math was so weak.

ADHDers can be horrible people too!
On the plus front his entrepreneurial skills (product development and marketing) were fantastic, which ,unfortunately, also meant that he suppressed the great ideas of others for his own gain.
Also a bit of a crook.
