When i was diagnosed i was looking for coping stratergies, and advice about how others cope. think it would be good to have a sucess stories section, where people write about how they have conquered their adhd and turned life around, this would motivate others Also a general tips section which can be added to It would also be good to get an adhd specialist to write on the site/forum as well to mislay fears or misaprehensions Also campaign for the bbc to do a documentary on adhd and it how it affects adults in their day to day life, relationships etc, id definately volunteer for this. Anyway those are my ideas Thanx

I'd love to find out tried and tested tips that others use so I second the idea for a coping strategies section.

Some of mine
A4 day to page diary as I find that harder to loose and easier to read. I use the contraceptive patch as I am unable to remember to take the pill everyday. I set timers to stop me drifting off and to help me focus. I get help with some of my tasks. I set alarms to remind me to go places. I use the grill on the microwave as it switches off after a set time (so all I have to deal with is cooked food that has gone cold, not a kitchen fire.) I exercise regularly to relieve the restlessness. I eat a healthy diet.

And online banking and getting everything emailed so it doesn't matter if I loose the bit of paper. Oh and I book my hair appointments into my diary a year at a time LOL or I forget.
