Hi.
I use ZoneAlarm firewall on my laptop and some of the pages are causing issues suggesting that there are phishing issues with the site giving me the option to block the site or allow it.
I believe it's being caused by some of the adverts.
Now I know that I'll get comments such as get rid of ZoneAlarm or save the page as trusted etc but that's not the point. It's distracting to fellow sufferers and seems to go against self help principles.
I realise that adverts generate revenue to keep the site going it's just that maybe the adverts need to be scrutinised or at least some guidance on avoiding the security messages. Perhaps even contact support of the message board provider.
Best regards.

I have Zone Alarm on my laptop and I had it on the old desktop and those alerts can be very distracting but they have a purpose. I know that Proboards have had problems with the ads recentely and they had disabled every ad network other than Google but that was December they did that so it's obviously not fixed the problem. There is a page on the Proboards Blog about an Ad Reporting Tool, I don't know if you could report the problems you're having through that or whether you'd have to try asking the Support Forum. blog.proboards.com/2009/12/ad-quality-reporting-tool.html
