This may actually seem too good to be true so im posting here again - i run adhd coach training courses to enable people with adhd to get support in such areas as organisation, timekeeping, procrastination, impulsive behaviour, adhd education, general education (under and post grad and schools), structure, social skills, workplace issues etc, in fact almost anything related to adhd and aspergers!
The Free sessions are usually five x 45 min sessions over the phone with text and/or email support in between sessions, all my coaches have backgrounds which are suitable to work with people like yourselves and they are closely monitored by me
My students have to work with a number of people with adhd in order to become fully qualifed adhd coaches - you would not only be getting high quality (and free) help for yourselves but ultimately you would be supporting the adhd community by enabling more professionals with better skills/awareness to practice
Free Coaching will commence august september so get in touch asap and your name will be put on the list to be contacted at this time, please contact me with any questions

I'd be happy to e-mail or post my symptoms which are extensive and co-exist with additional learning disabilties; these where recently diagnosed by an educational psychologist but the AADD has yet to be confirmed although I have a significant trail/track of events that would clearly underline a diagnosis. I have terrible difficulty focussing and prioritising for example - to-day I should be preparing and researching an urgent legal defence instead I am on this forum looking for help and guidance. I have a reall problem with 'hyperfocus' especially when doing research. Would really appreciate your feedback. I must also say that I am so pleased to have found this forum - which I don't believe existed when I first started to recognise my AD.
thanks to all who have replied - the way this works is that my undergrad adhd coaches have completed the taught modules (theory) of their adhd coach training. In order to progress to full qualification they have to be supervised by me working with real clients over a 6 month period. You would be working with someone with a high level of interest in your condition, who has a good level of knowledge about how to work with you but lacks the experience (at this point) to be able to practice independently. They would contact you by email, find out more about you then you would set a date for a phone assessment, this takes around an hour. After this you would agree 3 or 4 goals to work towards together, this involves a 30-45 minute phone call every week (you call the coach - mob, landline or skype) with some text and email support in between sessions. |Undergrad coaches speak to me regularly and communicate their progress - anything they are unsure about i will support them with and you always have me to contact yourselves during this process. You will get between 4 and 6 sessions for free. Most of my coaches have other jobs so they cant always reply immediately and you would need to be flexible about the times for your sessions - but basically its a great service for free and .......you are helping the adhd coaching profession expand. Hope this helps - just pm me if you need more info
