Almost £200 for just one day on someone who believes ADHD is a Gift, that seems insane to me.

Where did you guys watch the Emperor's New Clothes,?I can't find any cinema showing for it in London. I'm dying to see it. Russell Brand is the best never miss an episode of the Trews. You can get it shown near you by voting here, or see where there are spaces www.ourscreen.com (also this is something to do with oxfam, but I didn't get what?) They said they're going to release it (with all the stuff they couldn't put in) on DVD - but I don't know when Thanks very much. I found it on blink box to rent, will watch it tonight.

Darn it. Odat I wish I did not book it before seeing you comment. I've booked the ticket last night when no one replied. I also prefer natural food rather than supplements. Ahhhhh

Hi how r u all? i have not been on here for ages.. wow i never thought this thread would get this long..
I never got to tell you guys about the talk. I managed to go and i have to say i was pleasantly surprised. it was quite short, it could have been longer but I really enjoyed the doctor who gave the talk. He was engaging and i never knew he had adhd. There are quite alot of things i did not know about adhd personality types that was useful to me.
my only critisism is that i would rather the speaker have more time rather than the introduction by the coach and the breaks. Just when we were getting into the topic it stopped and longer q&a would be nice
But all in all i liked it and was glad i went. I want to go to the one on Thursday but i just want the nutrition talk.
Anyone going?

Hi everyone Has anyone ever been to those talks. Apparently the are held regularly in London. There is one tomorrow titled "The Paradox of ADHD" with Dr Utpaul Bose. I'm thinking of going but its £25 a ticket, I don't want to waste money if its not good. Has anyone been to those talks? www.simplywellbeing.com/adhd-expert-talks

Hi everyone I have been meaning to join this place for a while now. My Name is Yasmin, Im 32 years old and I'm finally figuring out what has caused me to waste most of my life and why I am so different from my family and friends. I'm almost certain I have ADD and I have never heard of it untill couple of months ago. To cut a long story short I went to my GP to ask for ADHD referal. After warning me about the side efforts of ADD meds. she referred me to my local mental health community. I was told I have to wait 10-14 months to see someone on their adhd team. I'm desperate I wasted so much of my time that I'm not about to wait another year to get help. Please recommended me an private adhd specialist that is good. Because I don't have money to waste. I'm in north london. Also any support group or meeting up with people that are going to through the same thing as myself. Because at the moment my family are not convinced that add/adhd is real disorder. Thank you
