It's how I feel all the time, so it could well be the ADHD.
I have been trying mindfulness because I cannot just live in the moment, but i found ADHD makes it borderline impossible.

I will be honest, I skip most posts which are beyond 3 paragraphs long.
But in answer to the thread title, totally. My IQ is beyond where I have found myself job wise, I am labeled an underachiever who gets bored with the mundane aspects of jobs, so I fall behind with the 'housekeeping' aspects of my role. So I get in trouble for that. I think it's thought that I am lazy with an attitude problem.
I really want a career, but I don't seem able to progress, all my friends have now got successful careers and are financially stable and I am scratching a living in a basic admin job despite being the most intelligent of my group.
It's frustrating.

I have been on 40mg Strattera for just over a week so far. No beneficial effects on my symptoms so far.
Side effects though, yeah I am getting a few of those. I am tired all the time, literally fall to sleep the second I lay on the sofa, sleep heavy all night too. Despite how much sleep I get, the tiredness is unrelenting. I get cold shivers down my spine even when warm. I get a horrible pressure like pain post ejaculation. Acid reflux too.
It feels very much like an SNRI so far to me.

Concerta made me less anxious as my mind wasn't running through a million and one worst case scenarios all the time.

I went to my GP, she said we had to rule out depression, so stints on SSRI's and SSNRI's with the inevitable worsening of symptoms and CBT followed, then she referred me to local mental health trust, they referred me to Adult ADHD team and I finally got a diagnosis. That process took from January 2015 - December 2015. Didn't get medication until last week though.

Was that your GP referring you? I am coming up to 6 months since my GP first tried to get me referred but it just keeps getting batted back.

Deciding to clean your bomb site of a bedroom then get distracted by interesting things you find which leads you to dig out more interesting things related to it and end up sleeping in the increased mess you have made.

You get "Seriously? I have told you three times already" as a standard response from your partner when you ask questions.
