Hi everyone, I'm the Mum of a 17 year old and we're based in Scotland. I don't know if anyone can help with my query but I'd be glad of any advice.
Daughter was diagnosed with ADHD (inattentive) when she was 7 and has been on medication for the last 3 years only. She is very sensitive to most drugs and seems to experience side effects much more than the norm for most people. She has tried different brands and both immediate acting and slow release types. She has had bad reactions to most.
Tranquilyn Methylphenidate is by far the best medication for her, but we can't seem to get it anymore. The pharmacists all see it still on their screens but are unable to order it and no-one can tell us why.
Does anyone know how I could find out more? I called a pharmaceutical supplier but they wont deal with the public so I'm at a loss.
