I made an appointment via my GP and two weeks have passed and haven't received any letter or phone call. Anyone with experience from Manchester NHS?

I think there's a decent support group in Manchester, too? This is the one that immediately came to mind: www.maddchester.com

Hi winnie,
I recently went through (some of) the process in Manchester. I was referred to the Adult ADHD service and I think it may have been a month before I get a letter asking me to confirm I wanted to be put on the waiting list, with the wait given as "more than 3 years". I ended up going private.
As boost suggested, I think your best course is to go to a Maddchester meeting, where you'll be able to get good advice.

ReaLLY? thanks for the recommendation, I'll definitely visit that centre and hoping they could help my daughter to diagnose if she has adhd or not. I notice most of the time she's kinda irritable and cannot focus in tasks that I give like household chores especially school home works. Does it have website to book?

Yup thats true, I also heard about this treatment for ADHD in Manchester. So far reviews were good though I wasn't yet visited that centre. Hoping someday if I could have spare time and as I search about this site, There were also articles that are very informative about ADHD. An example were this, www.adhdcentre.co.uk/adhd-help-parenting-tips-for-children-with-adhd/
