Hi I’m a 28 year old female who possibly has adhd. I have not been diagnosed and have not even tried yet, as the one time I plucked up the courage to mention it to my gp, his reply was very negative. Although he agreed it could be a possibility, he said that there are not many who manage to get a diagnosis as an adult. I have done a lot of research and learning more everyday as my son is in the process of being assessed, but I’m looking for some real life feedback. If anyone could give me feedback on any of the following I would be very grateful...
Being diagnosed as an adult. Living without a diagnosis. Struggles as a child and as an adult.

Sorry you’ve not had a reply yet. I’ve been frequenting the forum for a few months now on and off and this may be the first time I’ve looked in the forum section.
Big questions you ask :-)
I hope during your wait you’ve had a chance to look around the site and get some of them answered?

1. A huge relief. 2. A constant struggle. 3. I could probably write a book.
