Has anyone done one of these computerised tests? How accurate are
They? Doing one in July to be assessed by nhs, anyone had one?
What can I expect? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I’ve not done one, but I’ve seen one being done at ADHD Foundation conference
It’s a boring computerised ADHD screening . . .a quick and cheap way to see if you’re
likely to have ADHD before spending money on a costly specialist diagnostic assessment
with a human being.
Qb tests don’t diagnose, but they’re supposed to give a good indication of possible ADHD

Thanks for the reply, due to have one of these tests after an initial meeting with nhs 'M.H. Professional '
Tbh it's the third "professional" from nhs after 3 yrs of trying to get them to listen!!!
I've met a lot of ignorance and lack of awareness about ADHD from said "professionals". But seem to be in the right track
Finally!!! Again thanks for your help. 😀 will update after qb test . SH 75 ☺

I had one earlier this year (NHS) and my diagnosis seemed to made on the results of the QB test alone. It was the first part of my diagnosis interview with the second part afterwards being the 'talky' bit but that just seemed to be a box ticking exercise. The health staff conducting the test seemed to get quite excited by my QB results as they were unusually and consistently very high on reactivity times even by ADHD standards. However, you ask if they're accurate and I'm not so sure they are - your results are compared to a test group "the same sex and age" as you but I noticed (or at least pretty certain I noticed on some QB info) that my test group encompassed all females aged 30-60 (I'm 34). That age group would include pre, post and currently menopausal women which could effect results. I would feel the accuracy would be better if the age range of samples was broken to say ages 18-25, 25-40, 40-50, 50-65, 65+, etc. Also, my boyfriend sat in the room with me (and the test conductor) whilst I did the test. My boyfriend was sitting behind me watching and I knew he'd be 'playing' the test along in his head which made me super competitive thus perhaps affecting the reactivity times. I don't play computer games or use a mobile phone (I don't trust'em!), so that kind of stuff does't seem to affect results btw. Let us know how you get on and don't worry at all about it BOF
