I am a PhD student at the Baby Brains Lab in University College Dublin. We are currently investigating potential early factors of ADHD in children who are genetically at-risk of developing the disorder. We are looking for parents with ADHD and a child under 6 OR parents with a child with ADHD and another child under the age of 6 to take part. See below for more information on how to participate:

a) project title: Potential Early Factors of ADHD in at-risk children
b) project description: Our Baby Brain Lab is carrying out research examining potential risk factors for developing ADHD. It is usually diagnosed when children are attending school. Identifying early signs or risk factors is important to help increase our understanding of ADHD and how how we can best support those, from a young age, who have ADHD.
c) project objective: With this exploratory research, we are hoping to be able to eventually be able to diagnose ADHD at an earlier age, and improve intervention supports.
d) the design/methods of the project: The project is an online questionnaire which asks you questions about your family and your child.
e) characteristics of required participants: We are looking for parents with ADHD and a child under 6 OR parents with a child with ADHD and another child under 6.
f) main outcome measures: The variables we are interested in are attention development, sleep, and sensory processing.

h) name of funding bodies: This research is funded by the Waterloo Foundation and the Brain and Behaviour Research Foundation.
