Hello My daughter is at UNI and I've been funding her ADHD coaching which is £575/month, she is nearing the end of her first 6 months coaching, and its been beneficial to be sure. I'm not going to be able to pay this for much longer and wonder if there's any assistance available via any route?
Thanks for any advice, she has registered with disability services at Uni.

What does the coach provide exactly? External accountability? Perspective? Medication anecdotes? Other...? How often does the coach provide it? Once a day? Twice a day? On demand plus set schedule? Why is the coaching working? These are just some of the questions you'll need to try and answer before you turn off the taps, ideally. £600/month sounds expensive at first but in reality, for the right support, consistent support, it's probably cheap. Not what you want to hear, I know. Alternatives... group support, perhaps? Friends. Family. Student coaches? How about a virtual assistant? My idea was to get PIP and use the payment (which someone told me was £200 - £300/month) to pay for an assistant/virtual assistant of some sort. This was about 3 years ago I had this idea I'd be interested to know how this pans out for you, etc.
