Hi all,
I'd like to know if anyone else has ever had this kind of experience with stimulant medication.
It sounds bizarre but sometimes I don't feel like the medication is making any difference but others have noticed improvements such as I'm calmer, appear less anxious, less interuptive and speech is better moderated.
Obviously I'm really pleased with this feedback but confused and a little frustrated that I'm not always consciously aware of the improvements.
I've only recently been diagnosed and started titration in December, so perhaps this is in actual fact quite normal?

I find only having to take one dose in the morning helps, because i will not miss doses in the day. I have been medicated for years and it does help, eventually symptoms will subside for ADHD. If they do not subside you will probably be offered a new medication. I had to wait for a long titration processes so i know what you are going through, but eventually i hit the sweet spot and i do not want any more or less than what i am prescribed because the exact dose does it for me and I see a massive change.
You might have to wait a while before you see a change but remember the medication is only assisting you to change to reduce your symptoms for me I am not losing things all the time. I would say after a while it's become less effective for me but without medication my life would be hectic! Good luck! You might be on the higher side of things that's all before you notice the change!
