I’m asking because I’ve got a new phone and now I’ve started exploring the internet more (coz now it doesn’t crash every 2 seconds)
I’ve also downloaded candy crush and I’ve played it so much I’ve actually been crossing candies in my sleep
My concentration span is absolutely shot
Yesterday I stupidly checked my emails 4 messages first thing I’d been having some argument with some dude about the existence of ADHD
did my usual up and down the stairs getting all the things I’d 4got finally got out of the house locked the door got to the van realised I’d 4gotten my mask
All pretty normal except normally I do like a checklist type thing b4 I set off
I 4got 2 do that for the basics got to work realised I’d 4got my lunch plus I didn’t have my emergency money in my pocket coz I’d washed my clothes and emptied the pockets
Had 2 borrow some cash off 1 of my colleagues
This morning I managed to remember my lunch purposely made a point of doing my checklist out loud all going ok
Almost went into the back of someone coz I was busy watching some lass doing a proper marching kinda walk
I managed to post an entire street wrong kept missing parcels carried them the entire way round with me but just 4 got to actually deliver them when I got to the house
And we’re not talking small easy to miss parcels
I realise these are all small details but I have strategies so I don’t do these things but it just wasn’t working my mind was just somewhere else but more than normal
Has anyone else found this?
Is it because it’s all new and novel so I’ve been totally overdoing it on the phone games and internet thing have I just worn my brain out?
I can’t stop it’s been raining so no tennis plus matches haven’t started yet think I’m kinda addicted
My arm has actually been aching from holding my phone
Is this just me has anyone gone through this and if so did u manage to manage both internet and life, are you still stuck with your face stuck to your phone or did you have to delete candy crush and stop going on media sites?
