I’m very worried that you think that you can’t make friends without meds
I opted out of meds and I have good friends
There isn’t a magic pill that will make you popular or successful
There’s a pill that can help you to implement coping strategies but as far as I know there is no cure for ADHD or autism
You and me will always be different to the general population
Once you are comfortable with yourself others will be comfortable with you too
You make friends by finding common interests
It could be sports, computer games, comic books, chess, cars or motorbikes, whatever it is that interests you
Just work out what interests you and join a club
It might not be easy but that’s a start
Sorry if this sounds like a lecture but they way your talking sounds like a recipe for addiction
And do you know any happy addicts?

This is a conversation between yourself and a doctor. There is no magic pill, I agree with that - but there is no solution that fits every single person either. After an assessment it is important to talk with your doctor / psychiatrist about what would be the most effective treatment for yourself, as well as how to manage yourself with ADHD/Autism. Self reflection and speaking with experts is the right way to go.
Interests are grand, but interests crashing and burning because you can't focus five minutes onto something is so much worse.
