6 week course 4-5 hours weekly study A UK course for people aged over 19yrs
Funded by UK Adult education budget. With a few stipulations, one being you need to complete the course for it to be free.
It's a challenging course to say the least, never IMO 4-5 hours a week.
I've found my self stuck doing work re reading questions and struggling to find info on the self study parts.
I'm a mature student and studied about 8 years back a National diploma level.
As we know it's Autism is a huge subject and there's overlap with diagnosis hence the "Spectrum"
I'm posting In the ADHD forum and think it's still relevant.
Does anyone know what reasonable adjustments could be made for an Autistic young man in his teens starting work.
Very good vocalisation struggles with noise (hypersensitive)
Interprets Spoken and written text literally (What does that mean?)
Can go to room if he feels overwhelmed.
He has a great interest in computers but doesnt know how to calm his enthusiasm between his friend who aren't always as enthusiastic to hear. 😜Bless.
Please move this post if it's in the wrong forum .
