I signed up here about a month ago. I'm really desperate for support.
Half the posts are invisible when you login.
Looking in the members directory and at the staff, I see the last time an admin logged in was seven years ago.
I'm not on Facebook and I'm desperate for help. The Reddit ADHD group is just really toxic.
It's also laden with spam.
Someone needs to delete this forum. It's a liability. It may be peer-to-peer support and I know it is free to access but it is actually the opposite of support. I feel more confused now than when I first logged in.

I've just started looking around here trying to find support/ other peoples experiences and I feel the same. It doesn't seem like a particularly useful or active forum. Please report back if you find a good alternative!

There are two types of ADHDer that run forums: 1. The megalomaniac type. 2. The what-forum-oh-that-forum type. To run anything properly or consistently, you need NTs. NTs come in two flavours: 1. The goodwill NT. 2. The appropriately-compensated NT. When goodwill and funding dry up, you're left with... this mess. Hopefully, somewhere amongst the relentless spam, there's still a few nuggets. Chicken nuggets

I’ve just found out about a real-time online adult ADHD support group that runs on Monday evenings usually; you can sign up to their mailing list with the link sites.google.com/site/joyfivolous/home . It used to be an in-person group pre-Covid and notionally it’s based in London, but it’s open to people wherever they come from. I’ve signed up and I’m hoping it’ll be worthwhile!
