;D Taking a flask for a cold journey involves a trip to the supermarket to buy another flask and smiling at the cafe staff to fill it,
Packing involves buying new undies cause you didn't do any washing...
You buy socks gloves etc several pairs at a time cause they escape....
Anymore?
Oh lightbulbs!!!

Lightbulbs?
You know you have ADHD so are super organised by packing your party goodies in a box (bottles of wine and party nibbles), remembering to take them to the car and driving to the party.
It's a shame you put the box on the car roof when opening the door coz you drive off and lose the lot on the first roundabout.
Ho hum.

Oh yes cooking adhd style. Lightbulbs refers to the tendency to not change them immediately.... due to being busy looking at something shiny or wandering off. Many days of doing stuff in the dark and yet still doesn't compute to just change the bulb....

I've got some carrot and lentil soup too! I make it in huge batches and stand over it the whole time. Well, try to, and then freeze it. Yummy!
Lightbulbs - hmmm. I have one out of four working in the kitchen currently...

You know when you have ADHD when...you pop onto the PC just to look one thing up and you end up 'google surfing' for hours and wonder why your partner is staring at you because he's been watching a paused screen for the whole time.

ha ha ha ha this made me smile im not allowed to cook anything that doesnt need constsnt supervision when im in house on my own so i tend to eat cheese on toast for lunch because by the time you have cut cheese the toast is done and by the time you have put plate on side and cheese back in fridge its done xx

All that, and cheeze on toast is god's own food. At least, it would be, if there was a god...he would eat toasted cheese on Sundays, when resting.

Lol, I can cook and cook really well. When I'm doing dinner, that's all I focus on...I'm a perfectionist and have great attention to detail on stuff like cooking and design work. However, I can spend too long on things and the attention to detail can venture into hyperfocus.

You spend £5 sending a letter to the DWP by guaranteed, signed-for, next-day delivery - because you know they will say they haven't had it... then when they DO say they haven't had it, you realise that you have lost the receipt / tracking id! You get into the passenger side of the car, wait for it to move - and then remember that you are on your own, and am driving. You then climb across into the driver's seat because you don't want to look a prat getting out of one side and into the other! You take 5 hours to watch a 1-hour programme (thank heavens for sky +!) because you keep getting up to look things up on the internet, get a drink, etc, etc - and forget you were watching anything in the first place!

...when you go back to using a dated and probably insecure web browser cos all 'the new ones' have the ability to open more than one page at a time ;D
...when you confidently set off with a task in mind, bump into someone else, and totally forget where you were going and why
..when reading, a sentence reminds you of something else, you drift off thinking about that, wake 1/2 hour later and can't recall reading anything at all!

You know you have ADHD when the only time you drink a warm cup of tea is when someone else makes it.
