If you've been on social media lately, you've probably heard about this dress - people are debating whether this dress is either white and gold, or blue and black. I thought I'd post it here because I'm curious what like-minded ADDers think? I personally see black and blue and was adamant that everyone was trying to trick me, but when I looked at it earlier it was white and gold, then blue and black again! What do you see?

Definitely white and gold to me! I'm sure it is because of the lighting that it looks this way instead of the blue and black that it actually is. Apparently about 25% of people saw it as blue and black and 75% saw it as white and gold.. not sure it has to do with ADHD though

Okay that's really weird, I just looked at the updated thread here and the damned dress looks blue and black now!! WTH!? lol I think it may have to do with the lighting that you view the picture in as until just this minute it was always white and gold, but I'd always looked at it in the day time, now I'm looking at it in a room lit with a SAD lamp and it looks blue and black... how bizarre

Hahaha yeah, it is objectively blue and black, but subjectively it can be either which is strange. I know it doesn't have anything to do with ADHD but I thought it'd be interesting to see if there was a trend (just like the post about dyslexia above!)

Hello, contrarymary. Very glad to be back, but will probably be dropping in and out. Got a busy time coming up. On the other hand, I've just acquired a laptop, so will probably be online more, and might therefore be here more too.

This iteration is black and blue but I normally see it as white and gold. Stop messing with my head! Wouldn't it be funny if two people turned up at a wedding in it - they could claim it's not the same.

This vine pretty much explains the "illusion". It's all a matter of perspective and light judgement! vine.co/v/O2rvPnlEzqi
