OMG! What a turn around! Congratulations! There is no reason for you to feel bad, whatsoever. It's completely understandable given how much they gave you the run-around in the first place. You must be over the moon by this change of attitude.
I hope the meds work well for you.
Thrilled for you! Kx

Thanks Kathymel, I know I was astonished. I took OH in with me and we were both ready for a fight - certainly didn't expect to come out with a prescription!

Oh my goodness - what a turn up for the books!! I'm sooo pleased for you xxxx
Anyone else with no knowledge of the realities of the marathon trials of adhd diagnosis/medication would just read this or any threads and think you / all of us must have got wrong end of stick somewhere, it cant really be that hard and that couldn't happen in real life - these stories of the struggles then complete turnarounds just defy all logic.....
But hurray defying all logic means that you can actually move forward xxxxx. Everything crossed that this one works straight off for you xxxx

Have been reading thread for first time - thank f*** for that! I think a lot of it might have been as much about the funding as the responsibility of prescribing this scary group of drugs. Very glad someone is finally sticking their neck out though Sent from my GT-I9000 using proboards
