I get the feeling some people don't like my approach to uncovering my ADHD/ADD/SCT! But hey, that's fair and it's a free world (allegedly).
Perhaps I'm a bit too like Jeff Siegel (here's his blog) and find his direct approach to understanding ADD as refreshing and honest.
Apologies if I overshare too much my feelings and questions. Never mean to make people uncomfortable, but my view is: if meds attempt to deal with the symptoms, then I think it's fair that we should also try to deal with the causes - whether they be genetic, physical or environmental in nature.
Whilst jeffsaddmind.com/ is a bit of an awkward site - and I can never remember where I am in relational to what I've previously researched on there, Siegel is a bit of a shock-jock who will tell you how he thinks ADD/ADHD is. I don't always agree with him, but I respect his right to say what he thinks.
Someone else also refers to him on this forum (here)
