Hi all.
I was wondering whether it would be worthwhile starting one. Let's face, there's plenty of thoughts to write down and I am not aware of that many personal ones (I could be wrong, feel free to enlighten me, if there are).
Basically I would focus on what I was like as a child, daily life/struggles, plus points, medication and general ADHD related subjects.
What do you think? Shall I go for it, as I would love the people here to read it?
Cheers for any feedback/ideas etc.

Hello newdawnfades I think a blog would be an excellent idea. There are lots in the USA, but I don't know of any personal blogs here in the UK. Most of the ones here are by organisations or by ADHD coaches promoting their business. Would you do it anonymously? I only ask because obviously there might be implications for future employment if you reveal your identity, but I suppose that isn't an issue if you are self-employed. I'm all in favour of promoting awareness - it is obvious to me on a daily basis just how much ignorance and prejudice there is with regard to ADHD here in the UK. If we can increase awareness then that should lead to better understanding of the difficulties we face. Good luck with it. Thanks so much for the great and quick reply. I would do it anonymously to be honest as I would probably deal with a few personal subjects and situations. Promoting awareness was one of the things that I wanted to do whilst also telling "My Story" as such, so I think I will go for it. Will also see if anyone else has some ideas regarding it. I will keep people posted on this thread, if they are interested, of course

It's great, newdawnfades You have a really lovely conversational writing style; the blog looks good too. Having a list of common ADHD traits in your first blog post will be very helpful for people who are undiagnosed and looking for information. I look forward to reading more. Ahh, thanks so much! Glad you like it and the feedback is really appreciated.

Just read it newdawnfades congrats on the new job! Can you defer the CBT for a few months? explain that you need to settle in to the new job first. Physical and Mental Health are your most precious assets, no amount of money can buy them. Take care.
