Hi there, I recently came across a threatment book based on CBT for therapists with a accompaning client work book to help those of us with ADHD who have problems with executive functioning. The book is like a session by session weekly course with homework. With practical steps which seem to build upon each other. The subjects covered are Organisation and planning, reducing Distractibility methods, Adaptive thinking and procrastination. . The treatment I currently recive is 15 minutes with a doctor every 3 to 6 months to get meds and the self help books are not working for me, with support maybe I could do better. I am looking for a affordable option for help , a one on one therapist would cost a lot, what I get now, it's just not enough So I would like people's opinions on the following. Do you think this kind of skills based course could be done in a group setting? And what are your thoughts on this.?. How would you feel about attending/paying for something like this?(if interested) Does anyone have any experiences of attending anything along these lines or know of anything similar in the UK? I would like to hear what people think or just have them share any good treatment experience s😁 .so please reply. Signed One frustrated person.🤔 Read more: aadduk.proboards.com/thread/12071/mastering-adult-adhd-treatment#ixzz69XpqhN3o
