I filled out a screening test and gave it to my GP who referred me to an adult ADHD clinic. I got pretty lucky and the maximum wait is 6 months and it could be shorter. I was thinking of holding off going private for diagnosis until I knew the exact time I would need to wait (if it is more than 3 months I think I'll pay for psychiatry uk).
In the mean time I've been trying productivity coaching, but they are reccomending that I try to find an ADHD coach instead (they know the whole situation and that I'm not diagnosed).
So I was wondering does anyone know if ADHD coaches take on people without a diagnosis, or where I could find this info out. (I don't really see it mentioned on ADHD coaching websites).

Aren't "ADHD coaches" basically just Cognitive Behavioural Therapists? I think they'll take in anybody regardless of any diagnosis or not if they feel like they could benefit from planning and motivational counselling.

ADHD coaches aren't therapists, they're more like life coaches who adapt strategies to support neurodivergent brains.
