Hi everyone! I'm 37 and have recently come to the realisation that I most likely had ADD. I'm not very confident when talking to my GP about such issues (I really struggle to express myself clearly) and even less so now that appointments are phone based. I'm just looking for a little advice on how best to frame my wording so that I get everything across and I don't end up getting dismissed/fobbed off. Thanks in advance

I'm in a similar position, just slightly further on, and one of the most helpful things for me was to write down my symptoms against an ADHD checklist which was suggested by members here. For me having it written down made it easier to discuss my thoughts with my GP. Try the NHS checklist or as suggested by someone on here look for the "Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1) Symptom Checklist"
