Hello I just want to ask a question I have had problem with addiction from an early age I have been in prison because of alcoholism and rehab I am 39 since 2009 I had a problem with painkillers which I am currently on suboxone all my life I had a problem with concentrate but since I've been on this medication my concentrate has got alot better also i can stay still because I feel carm I think I have adhd or add suboxone keeps my dopamine level does dopamine deficiency play a big part in the cause of ADHD

Yes it’s widely believed that ADHD is caused by a shortage of available dopamine in parts of the brain
Dopamine is thought to play a role in many psychiatric disorders not just ADHD
You should definitely ask your gp about it and get a referral to a specialist
