I am on this combination of drug’s. I have been on methylphenidate for about 6 weeks and the other two for around 2 years. The methylphenidate is helping with my core adhd symptoms but I have recently started feeling very anxious. I am trembling and I feel quite agitated most of the time. Exercise is helping to some extent but I still go back to feeling anxious quite soon after. My theory is that I am receiving too much noradrenaline/ norepinephrine since all 3 of these medications promote noradrenaline/ norepinephrine re-uptake. Too much noradrenaline/ norepinephrine can cause anxiety. Has anyone else either experienced or heard of a situation similar to this?
Thank you

Hiya! I’ve been trying to get lots of answers regarding titration and what “is” and “isn’t” standard and to be honest haven’t gotten very far I too, am on methylphenidate and venlafaxine and like you, have the worst anxiety since taking my adhd meds (on week 3) the anxiety physically hurts! The smallest situation I could usually cope with and wouldn’t be up or down with my heart is beating, chest is tight and that’s me away. This has been happening every day and it’s becoming debilitating. Did you find an answer? Did it ease up for you?

3 different head drugs at once sounds like 2 too many.
I guess you can't just stop taking some of this stuff, though? Gotta be properly weened off it.
