Hi I’m 32 and female. Been diagnosed for a year but struggled my whole life. When I got diagnosed it was a huge weight off my shoulders and a lot of things in life was explained. I thought once I had that explanation and the help I needed I would be able to start living my life fully. This isn’t the case. I was given my diagnosis, medication and very little support or information. Everything I know about ADHD is from my own research. The medication helps slightly but I assumed it would be in addition to some sort of therapy or regular appointments with a professional who is there to explain things. Anyway prescribed xaggatin/methylphenidate and after a couple of reviews the prescription was released to the doctor to prescribe and I’m left to get on with it. I’ve tried researching for help, asked doctors, even the local adhd services but apparently there are very little resources and services with adhd knowledge in my area. Is paying to see an ADHD coach the only way to get help and advice?

They're a bit backed-up at the moment though.
