Yesterday I was in a local library and got a helpful manager to show me how to scan on the photocopy. Easy when you know how but you have to get the options in the right order - maybe more later.
Today went to same library and started to scan, a "helpful" minion said "can I help you" in a slightly passive aggressive way (at least that is how it came across) . I almost snapped
Flash forwards 10 minutes. I apologised. "Was trying to remember what yesterdays manager told me and couldn't quite. THen I remembered
PS - she seems to be being a bit pass. aggr. to another customer.
PPS - thought of posting this to venting but decided to focus on the good news of how I handled it.

well done for not snapping. Yep - I almost snapped... This was at a local library. I have different problems in specialist library/Archive. The assistants there can be helpful in a different way. They dont like it if I think I know more than them, which isnt hard if I am researching something specific. More another time
