I'm wondering if anybody else finds it difficult to concentrate (I mean more than usual ) in thundery weather? It feels as if my meds are only working at half-strength while my brain has become more leaden than usual . It's most frustrating

That's incredibly interesting. Maybe you are picking up lots of static interference? You should probably get a tinfoil hat. Are the meds affected during the whole of the thunderstorm or is it during the lightining bolts etc??

Hey Roland, The heat here Sunday was tropical and we had the best storm ever. I always feel a storm brewing but have never thought about my concentration at his time, probably because I never been able to concentrate that much before. lol. I wish for the storm to come because my head feels so full and then the feeling goes with the storm. I guess that would distract ones concentration. Lightcomes on: :? Thinking about it now when this happens at work I get up and can't sit at my desk become figety and the pressure in my ears is awful. Jules top tip: Inhale Peppermint and Olbas Oil when you feel this way - gives you a little pep up and is great for headaches. Must be the chemistry and the weather affected the meds - learning everyday. Be Pepermint Prepared more Storms likely !! Hope you've bounced back - take care Jules My boss came over to see what I was sniffing one day because peps had been talking about me at the bottom end of the office (oh yeah Poppers in work - lol) You should have seen his face BRILLIANT. Peppermint Oil not P45 he wouldn't stop inhaling the stuff and is never without it now always has one in his pocket.

Hi Roland,
We are having serious rain and the sun every hour - are you still having storms by you. Hope you're feeling better.

I'm feeling much better thanks Jules and next time I'm going to try peppermint. The air has cleared and I'm able to function so much better.
It's not the actual storm that's the problem, it's the build up to it that really bothers me. Like Jules my head feels too full, and I get a strange kind of headache, and I end up feeling completely apathetic about deadlines which usually are a marvellous motivator for me.

hello everyone,
-i agree with roland about the build-up to a storm, i hate it when it's really humid outside. makes me feel like i can't think straight... -but after it rains i feel fantastic!
