Greetings, friends I have managed to get a workshop for adults in Liverpool with ADHD to start in October helping adults cope with ADHD. If you are interested you need to contact me as they want me to get a list of interested participants together. When I say they it is Sefton Parent Partnership an organisation run by the Council. They also said they would be interested to know what topics skills people would most like to work on. www.seftonparentpartnership.co.ukAfter talking to others I have been told that parent partnerships run nationally so if anyone else feels they would like a group in their area it might be worth getting in touch with your local Parent Partnership. I just asked them if they could give me any help starting up a group and they offered a work shop followed by a group meet up. When we were talking about ADHD being hereditary they agreed and mentioned that many members of their parent group may be interested so I am now going to find more people with the condition and feel less isolated in my local area. This has got me thinking how many other child ADHD groups have got parents suffering in silence and intend to find out and invite them along.

Hi safensound,
This is a really good idea, so I'm wondering if you have a date would you like us to add it to the calendar, and also would you like this thread to be an announcement across all the boards so that more people can see it?
