This is for men or people who know that men have been affected. Okay........... So, some films have a very powerful effect of me, regarding my mood. Sad or tragic, injustices, make me think just a little bit too much for my liking. Examples, Braveheart, american beauty, eden lake, the descent, there are others but I don't need to list them. I expect that the music may be more powerful than the visuals . Sometimes, I have sort of cried at some films horrible events although I perhaps have to open my mind fully before that happens and I can stop it if I want to. Maybe they catch me off guard lol. Only a couple of films have done that. Maybe it was just a depression +sad film moment. So, how do they affect you really? Go on, tell all lol. If you want. I also find that I really don't like films that are pointlessly, shockingly violent, even though they may be realistic and have happened in the world, I just cannot tolerate them. The brutality urk! I would never be a soldier, nor would I want to be anyway. So, come on fellows, get out your insults and tell me I am just a wussy old piece of soggy lettuce.

OK, I'm not a dude, but jus like to say, films can affect my mood depending on how they end, was talking about this to my daughter yesterday, you ever seen invasion of the body snatchers? the ending wen the character yve bin followin all the way through (Donald Sutherland's) ends up screaming at her coz hes one of them, left me very upset as i remember, was like ' no, o god no' and prolly cud be considered typical woman i cry like a bitch at the drop of a hat but wen u watch films u invest in the characters and i dont think its a sex thing i. e. male vs female i think its a sensativity thing, my son watched 'watership down' at the farmhouse where Hazel gets shot, he burst into tears it took us hours to calm hhim down even thou the rabbit survived, he is an extra sensative warm hearted young man (he was 4 then) he feels for other people and u can sit there and say its only a film, its not real but if someone ( fictional character or real) can make you feel empathy, doesn't that make you a better person? Alot of adders are like that, they are really sweet gentle kids/adults with problems in controlling behaviour and actually the nicest kid i know has ADHD, aspergers and a list of other disorders, they find social injustices very difficult to cope wiv not jus in their own llives but in other peoples lives aswell it is in my opinion wat makes adders better people their sensativity And of course just coz the character started in someones head rather than being real, doesnt actually stop them feeling for them! I think its sweet and to be the kind of person that cares ,watch a film and not b affected by the fictional characters plight wudnt ( in my opinion) make sense
