Hello I found this while browsing the net, i think it would be useful if people could do the questionnaire for this study. This is what its about; Psychologists at Nottingham Trent University are investigating which social groups might be responsible for the self-stigma often attached to an individual's decision to seek help for mental health issues. They are studying personal attitudes towards mental health along with the anticipated reactions of family, friends and work colleagues upon disclosing a mental health issue which requires treatment. The team wants to understand which social groups exert the greatest influence on decisions to seek or not to seek help. www.ntu.ac.uk/apps/news/87540-15/Getting_to_the_root_of_mental_health_stigma.aspx

Hi laurac9151,
I have done the questionnaire as I think there is a stigma around mental health problems (self created or not).
It would be interesting to see the results

I think my generation have less stigma and if there is you cant blame people look at the lack of services its like dont open a bag of worms as youll just get dx and leftn and in general that is what happens to alot of people.
