im really really interested in mental health. i cant wait to start my new job! (support worker, in residential home for people with mental illlness!) (so excited!) and degree in october (health and social care) but yeah there definetely need to be more of us out there.
just having mental health problems gives you such an insight into how the system works (or doesnt) and we'd be able to emphasise with people well. its just all the paperwork that worries me ;D

Aaaaaarrrgghhhh!!!1 Went to see my psych yesterday and was asking him if there was any other support out there. I may have questions about my meds between now and December (next appt) and what happens if I start to experience side effects. Blank looks followed. So I start asking about support because sometimes I need help when things are overwhelming me or I may need calming down. More blank looks. I phoned back today and said if he doesnt come up with some ideas then Im complaining about him AGAIN. lmao he got a dose of the lightening quick changes in mood as I quickly went from being calm to all out offensive and then stormed out in a huff
