Meant to be better in liverpool than most of noth due to mersey and gulf stream or somethink. The only problem with heating is makes me sleapy. safe, i have felt really cold today and yes i put the heating on for a while.
like you laura i hate being cold and get really tetchy if i am too hot aswell, when you said about the thermostat, i thought you meant your thermostat, cos i have always said that i feel like i have a faulty internal thermostat control.
and dont ya just hate when shops are too hot, i actually get really proper stressed out and have to leave no matter what i am getting or how important it is, its a really unpleasant feeling.

I have some words.
Socks, slippers, fleece jacket. Thermal vest thing with out the arms (so you can get some airflow)
If you saw the way I walk around sometimes in the winter, you would probably confuse me with a beast or something.
I love fleece blankets. My room gets very cold as its north facing brrrrrr. I don't usually have heating on when asleep because, being a mouth breather, it really dries me out and leads to chest issues etc.
I used to use an electric blanket on my bed, but now I have a thick fleece blanket which is never cold to the touch.. It is therefore a good ambient heat insulator. If I go to bed warm, I will stay warm. For me, losing my bodyheat to the bed is nasty and boy, oh boy, DO I HATE WAKING UP WITH COLD FEET GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. ahem.
Of course, I have no doubt that some of you, get caught up doing something and you let your feet freeze way beyond the point of normality and then you go out with cold feet brrrrr.

I have an idea that I might need to invent/design some kind of poncho out of the lovely fleece they sell on the market.
It'll need to have a hood. Be ankle length. Have holes for my arms to pop out of so I can make cups of tea. And not be the kind that leaves fuzz and fluff all over the computer chair lol.
I hate heating the whole house 24/7 in the winter. But get cabin fever if I only use the gasfire to keep warm - and I end up not doing stuff I ought round the rest of the house lol.
I'm gonna look like an eskimo ;D

If it works out any good I'll try and sort some kind of pattern to post up lol.
It has just taken me 15min to make a cup of tea. Drank a mouthful and about spat it out...Its cold. Once upon a time I had a Tefal One Cup kettley thing. It was wonderous!!! Until it died aged six weeks and one day - stopped making steaming hot water. Visitors and guests always commented on the relative speediness of my tea making while I had it and they all miss it sorely...
Can anyone tell me if they have improved their design to keep making actual steaming hot tea in hard water areas beyond 6 weeks yet?
Or are they still a wonderful but impractical bit of tech that will make tepid anaemic tea like last time?

With winter on the way it’s likely you’ll be turning the heating up, but could this help you lose weight?
Researchers have found that being exposed to temperatures above the thermoneutral zone actually decreases your appetite, making you less likely to pile on the pounds.
Learn to deal with warmer temperatures and you could be doing your waistline a favour.

I've had the heating on so I can dry clothes over the radiators. I haven't got a dryer, it's pissing down outside and I've got no pants.
