I have decided these are the main things I find hard to plan:
a. My birthday-no one else bothers or can care except me
b holidays
c. getting an earlier enough bus to take me to my arrival, ie work, place of shopping ect- always end up running somewhere to get to a place, always leaving travel to the last minute
d. never planning to reach a new place -ie forget maps, to ask for directions on phone, to have someone's number in case their are problems
e. never defrosting food for tea, so end up with egg and chips where not planned tea in advance.
there are many more----------------------- just can't think, anyone got anymore suggestions?
What can help with planning, apart from the usual post it notes, to do lists ect?

i find it helps to have ONE diary you write EVERYTHING into, so you only have to manage keeping hold of that - keep it in the same place at all times, in the same bag or whatever you have with you, every time. thing is, i redo my to do lists and my schedule so much and i now write every little thing in there that comes to mind before it gets forgotten, and then it looks so confusing i end up taking post-its and gluing them in over the pages to restart the lists so it looks neater and therefore easier to follow, etc. and i know i look totally crazy for it but it's the only way i can manage even 10%

Thanks all for your replies, I like the diary idea, I do the same Thyme, however, I also seem to write on odd bits of paper too, so, collect piles of notes and need to learn to sift through in priority order, but having the days in the diary is helpful, also helps to have large spaces in diary x
