Saw this and thought it might help un dx: ;D add-adhd.lifetips.com/cat/57707/adult-add-adhd/index.htmlWhen you have completed the above checklist, calculate the following: Total Score: _______ Total Number of Items with a score of three (3) or more: _______ Score for Item #1: _______ Score for Item #6: _______ Score for Item #7: _______ More than 20 items with a score of three or more indicates a strong tendency toward ADHD. Items 1, 6, and 7 are essential to make the diagnosis.

Anyone with ADHD will not complete this. Why, because have you seen how much thinking and patience you need to complete this fucking thing?
It's far too long and needs to be selection boxes to actually attract anyone with ADHD.
I should know, I've had ADHD since a child and this is how I felt.

Must admit I've not filled it in. But I did copy and paste it into word to print out and look at later. All the tick box ones I've come across seem to ask the same questions (and don't always tally the score for you after you've filled the thing in). The connors paper questionnaires are awful and are crazy difficult to score yourself (guess its intended that way). Filled some in for both me and my kids. Can't do them in one sitting and some of the questions are very confusing. I got very close to throwing one in the bin at one point. Has anyone found some auto scoring, easy to use tickbox questionnaires on the net? All the ones I've found so far are like this: psychcentral.com/addquiz.htmThere is a questionnaire in each of the books 'Driven to Distraction' & Delivered from Distraction'. They are 100 or so questions though but only really require a yes/no answer.

hi safe it does seem interesting but and have had a quick look but nit gone back yet i dont really like the scoring system and prefer to have the options set out in front of me and for it to add it up for me too but thanx i want to go through it at some point so i think ill do what giddy has and paste it onto word to print out i did the one giddy pointed out and got 105, how many points can you get?

Didn't print it, didn't finish reading it - I was scoring 4's, apart from a couple, so decided to assume I had ADHD.

OK - I tried REALLY HARD to keep track. So I counted the ones where I didn't score 4 (got a piece of paper an everyfin! - minus score for organisation and lack of procrastination ) Maybe I just assume I'm a nutjob/chronic case and gravitate to the top scoring item or I'm delusional or summat. Even if I went ultra conservative I would have been WAY (way way) over the 20 3/4s
